If I do that, then in the 3d view, it shows a solid wall. If I make the short wall then it won't show the uppers hanging there.

Generally you would have a wall for the peninsula and you could put the upper cabinets on the same wall.

How do I make upper cabinets that hang over a peninsula? If I make a short wall and then hang them above the floor over the peninsula they don't show in drawings or 3d image. Any help would be appreciated.

What I ended up doing was to recut the stiles 2" wide and adjusting the rail length. Mainly to keep aesthetics (same spacing between doors). Also greater strength for hanging the door.

It is a setting on your computer.

Thank you Rob. I appreciate all the effort you put into the program. I don't exactly understand what you mean about having the DPI set right. Is that a setting on my computer or is it a program setting? Can you give a little feedback on that?

some of them are at 3840 x 2160.

With the updates I've been doing the past few weeks the program should work fine on any resolution, provided you have the DPI set properly for the resolution you are using.

This situation is something I've pondered on a few times. My current method is to change the styles on the cut list. But then oops I forget on a job and we are redoing a face frame. I was wondering if a setting could be programmed into the system to add width to corner styles but still render them as 1 1/2" The way I build upper corner units the face frames need to finish out at 17 inches. That's what the cut list will give you with 1 1/2" styles. Bumping the styles up in width on the cut list does not change the rail or door size so its not to bad. You just need too keep it in mind.
